Brickhill Parish Council, Bedford

Proposed Parking Restrictions

Pipit, Wavney and Ashmead Roads

News - 8th June 2018

Please find below documents relating to proposals to introduce road restrictions which will affect Pipit Rise, Larkway, Tyne Crescent, Ashmead Road and Waveney Avenue.

The reason for the proposal is that Bedford Borough Council has received a request to address inconsiderate parking in certain areas of the Parish of Brickhill. Consequently access for larger vehicles such as buses and emergency vehicles is restricted in addition to the poor visibility at the junctions.

The Effect of the Order - To introduce ‘no waiting at anytime’ restrictions on the lengths of road detailed below.

Please note that the consultation process commences today and runs until 6th July 2018. Details of where to send any objections are contained within the first listed document. Notices have been erected on the affected roads.
